Biography
Nancy is a Wisconsin artist. She worked as a mixed media artist since 1991. In 2007, in an effort to express her faith more fully through her art, Nancy began icon writing in egg tempera. It was at this time that Nancy temporarily stopped publicly showing at galleries and art shows to focus on this new work. The first showing of Nancy's new body of work "The Way of The Cross" opened April 2011. She continues her work as an iconographer through commission work, exhibiting at conferences, and teaching.

Nancy's educational background consists of an Associates Degree in Interior Design from Fox Valley Technical College and an Associates Degree in Mechanical Design from Northeastern Technical College, as well as numerous art and business courses. After working in a corporate business environment for ten years Nancy decided to pursue a career as a full-time studio artist in 1997.

Nancy has exhibited in art shows and galleries across the country including New York, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida. Her work is in public and corporate collections such as the American Craft Museum in New York, SAS Institute in North Carolina, Marshfield Clinic and Public Library in Wisconsin, Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College, University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, St. Agnes Parish and The Nativity of Our Lord Parish, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, St. Thomas Moore school, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, Champion, Wisconsin, St. Peter The Fisherman Parish, Two Rivers, Wisconsin, St. Francis Xavier Parish, De Pere, Wisconsin, as well as in many private collections.

By the grace of God and with the support and encouragement she receives from her family and friends, but especially her husband Mark, Nancy is able to continue to pursue her passion for art and iconography.

"Through my journey as an artist, I have come to realize that my abilities are a gift from God and belong to him alone. Often, I am amazed that I can create some of the artwork I do. That is when I know there is another hand in it. What is important for me is that I do the work. Whether or not God chooses to use my work to inspire others is in His hands. I give it all to Him.
